Hi. Thank you very much for the script-o-rama link. I am familiar with script-o-rama, and it is a great resource for scripts. But, I am looking for script writing information. Mainly tips or examples on how to format a script in the 3 act format. And any examples of script structure breakdowns of any existing movies. Also, any online script writing articles that may be helpful. Thank you again. Greg

Then get a book by sid Field called ScreenWriting. thats a good starter. then maybe the writers journey.

Hey there.

I think what these guys are saying is go and read a few scripts and work that stuff out for your self.

Print the script out. Get a few coloured marker pens and read and reread the script and work out the scructure. This stuff is easy enough to figure out.

When Im writing I dont think about where the next act should come in. I just write and just let the characters tell me whats gonna happen next. Then when I read through I can see where the different acts start and finish. I think its just a kind of natural thing that comes from watching lots of movies and reading lots of stories we kind of know how these things should work out.
